DEJA VU

You were chosen by people to lead
When an anomalous leader fled
Because of out crying Filipinos’ plea
To vacate the office where they want you to be.

Certainly your countrymen expected you to be a model
And make the Philippines soar onto a new level
That during afflictions be the mother they can always call
And be the best ruler they shall ever recall.

Yes, you’ve done marvelous things indeed
For if not, perhaps you were never re-elected.
But after pretty years of your term,
Citizens are seeing things apart from good terms.

Filipinos are having the feeling of déjà vu
Their skies are turning to dark and no longer blue
But you keep on appealing that accusations are not true
Which side is right? Your people want to know.

Filipino people therefore want the truth
Are you squandering their own sweat’s fruit?
If you do not want to be avowed guilty,
Your people are requesting for transparency.

‘Coz for sure, you do not wish for a revolt to come
And hear them say, “What a monster you have become!”
Nor be reminded that the State is not yours but their own.
Or worst, be out casted in Malacañang – your borrowed home.

bahala ka magjudge if edited o hinde... basta natutuwa lang ako pero bagay na bagay sa kanya ganyan siguro kumain sa restau na gumastos ng million sa dinner lang. lets*ng Arroyo yan.. Bwiset!
